Input sought for Acorn Library’s strategic plan

Updated: July 24, 2013 6:09AM

The Acorn Public Library in Oak Forest is seeking input from residents for its 2013 to 2015 strategic plan.

Residents are asked to complete a brief survey about their opinions of the library. Those who leave their name and contact information will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Jewel gift card.

“The results of this survey will help us to create a solid and effective strategic plan,” library director Eric Werthmann said. “We need to find out what people in the community are looking for so that we know what to strive for.”

The strategic plan is expected to be completed in the next several months.

The survey can be accessed by visiting www.acornlibrary.org. Copies also are available at the library, 15624 S. Central Ave.
