Frankfort: Hickory Creek Middle School will hold baseball tryouts from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Aug. 5 to 7 at the school, 22150 116th Avenue. Two teams (maroon and gold) will be formed with seventh and eighth grade students as players. Attendance is required all three days. Southland: The High School Fall Baseball League will feature a network of leagues spanning from Chicago to Dayton, Ohio in the 2013 season. Leagues are open to kids who will be in high school in the fall. Leagues play on Sundays, beginning Aug. 25 and ending Oct. 13 with the HSFBL Championship Tournament in Indianapolis. Leagues will play a six-week regular season, followed by postseason tournaments and an All-Star Showcase. Fee: $225. Register by Aug. 4. Information: www.hsfbl.com.
Orland Park: The Bulls/Sox Academy will host a Bulls Summer Camp from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday to Friday at the Orland Park Sportsplex, 11351 W. 159th St. The camp is open to ages 6 to 12. Fee: $199. Information: www.bullssoxacademy.com.

New Lenox: Providence Catholic High School and coach Mark Coglianese will host a pair of camps, open to kids in grades four to eight, from Monday to Friday. The fundamental camp will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and the 7-on-7 passing camp will run from noon to 1:30 p.m. Fees: $100 for fundamental camp only; $135 for both camps. New Lenox: The New Lenox Mustangs will hold registration, open to boys ages 7 to 14 (not in high school) who weigh from 50 to 170 pounds.
