Oak Forest High School Principal Brad Sikora welcomed 332 freshmen during the annual freshman and transfer student day at the school.

Students had three 30 minute sessions that represented different parts of student life at Oak Forest High School.

They took a tour of the building led by the Sophomore Student Council officers and participated in an activity and sports fair where they could explore all of the clubs, activities and sports available at the school.

The new students also viewed a PPS Department presentation, which emphasized that they should make every moment count while they are at Oak Forest High School.

Afterwards, students attended an abbreviated class schedule in order to locate their classrooms, meet their teachers and review academic and behavioral expectations.

The freshmen and transfer students ended their day in the cafeteria with hot dogs and potato chips.
