Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter

MIDLOTHIAN

BURGLARY: A refrigerator was stolen prior to Sept. 13 from a vacant house in the 14300 block of Tripp Avenue.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Tony Love, 19, 6833 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago, was charged with domestic assault and underage drinking after a Sept. 15 incident at a home in the 3300 block of 147th Street, police said.

BATTERY: Terry Pickett, 36, 14735 Homan Ave., Midlothian, was charged with battery and criminal damage to property after attempting to burglarize a car and hitting the owner with a beer bottle Sept. 15 in the 3300 block of 147th Street, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Juan Jiminez, 28, 14336 Linder Ave., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 17 incident at his home, police said.

THEFT: A manager at Dollar General, 14441 Cicero Ave., Midlothian, told police an employee stole $200 from a money drop envelope on Sept. 19 and fled the business.

DRUG ARREST: Kathleen Hennessy, 46, 14904 Cicero Ave., #313, Oak Forest, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs, criminal trespass to a vehicle and other violations after stealing her father’s car and credit card on Sept. 20, police said.

BURGLARY: Tools were stolen Sept. 22 from a garage in the 15000 block of Springfield Avenue.

BATTERY: Anthony Gayton, 35, of Dixmoor, was charged with battery to a police officer and resisting arrest after fighting with an officer who was trying to arrest him Sept. 23 for walking on the median in the 4000 block of 147th Street, police said.

OAK FOREST

THEFT: An Oak Forest High School student told police someone stole his iPhone Sept. 10 from his locker at the school, 15201 Central Ave.

VAN THEFT: A 2005 Ford van that contained numerous construction tools was stolen Sept. 10 in the 15300 block of Kilpatrick Avenue.

PILFERED PHONE: An Oak Forest High School football player told police someone stole his iPhone Sept. 14 from the boy’s locker room at the school, 15201 Central Ave.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ashley Reed, 23, 10921 Keating Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 14 disturbance at a home in the 5400 block of Adiline Place, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A laptop computer was stolen Sept. 17 or 18 from a house in the 14800 block of Mission Avenue.

BATTERY: Christopher Fransen, 37, 15817 LeClaire Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with battery and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after shoving another man inside his home Sept. 18, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: An iPad, $200 cash and jewelry were stolen Sept. 19 from a house in the 5000 block of 152nd Street.
