Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter

MIDLOTHIAN

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Suzanne Marfise, 57, 14936 Keeler Ave., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 4 incident at her residence, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Alexandra Simon, 22, 21000 Tallgrass Drive, Mokena, was charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana, no insurance and driving with one taillight after an Oct. 4 stop in the 14500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

BATTERY: Michael Johnson, 21, 14732 Homan Ave., Midlothian, was charged with battery after refusing to leave McDonald’s, 14601 Pulaski Road, on Oct. 5 and then throwing coins in the face of an employee, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Shawn Crowley Jr., 27, 3900 W. 152nd St., Midlothian, was charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped Oct. 9 in the 14700 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

ORDER VIOLATED: Herbert Hall Jr., 38, 3348 W. 147th St., #4, Midlothian, was charged with violating an order of protection after police responded to a call at his home Oct. 10, police said.

VANDALISM: Someone broke a door handle, bent a license plate and broke a taillight on a car Oct. 13 in the 14500 block of Pulaski Road.

OAK FOREST

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Dontee Rochele, 22, 14028 Laramie Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after an Oct. 9 stop in the 5600 block of Independence Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Michael Lanners, 23, 14945 Kilpatrick Ave., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 10 incident in the 15300 block of Knox Avenue, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Lashawn Hilliard, 19, 15733 Lamon Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after a disturbance Oct. 10 at his home, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen during an Oct. 11 break-in at an apartment in the 15700 block of Independence Court.

GIRL THREATENED: A 13-year-old student at Jack Hille Middle School told police she received a six-page-long anonymous text message Oct. 13 from someone threatening to sexually assault her.

THEFT: A construction worker told police someone stole a power washer Oct. 14 after he set it on a driveway in the 16400 block of Terry Lane.
