WEAPONS CHARGES: Irvin Wheeler, 23, 17740 John Ave., Country Club Hills, was charged with possession of a stolen gun and no valid firearm owner’s ID card after police found a stolen handgun while searching his car during an Oct. 16 stop at 160th Street and Oak Avenue, police said. They said the gun was reported stolen in a robbery in Hammond. Jonathan Olujimi, 24, 22129 Churchhill Drive, Richton Park, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon during the same stop after police found a handgun in the waistband of his pants, according to police. They said both men also were charged with possession of marijuana.
VANDALISM: George Kramski, 61, 5515 Ellen Court, Oak Forest, was charged with criminal damage to a vehicle after slashing another man’s car tire Oct. 17 in the 16200 block of Debra Drive, police said.
HOME BURGLARY: A television was taken Oct. 17 during a burglary of a house in the 6500 block of 151st Street.
THEFT: Four hubcaps were stolen Oct. 19 from a car in the 15300 block of LeClaire Avenue.
WEAPON ARREST: Victor Vela, 23, 4637 Oakridge Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon after police found him with a pair of brass knuckles following an Oct. 19 altercation near his home, police said.
ORDER VIOLATION: Joseph Mikos, 58, 5120 Shadow Creek Drive, Oak Forest, was charged with violating an order of protection after approaching a woman outside his home on Oct. 19, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Richard Stanovich, 28, 15719 Independence Court, Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after an Oct. 20 dispute at his residence, police said.
DOMESTIC BATTERY: Sadahedin Saadah, 18, 5704 Independence Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with domestic battery after an altercation Oct. 20 at his home, police said.
