Midlothian, Oak Forest police blotter

MIDLOTHIAN

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Michael Colunga, 40, 14440 Knox Ave., Midlothian, was charged with criminal damage to property following a Feb. 9 domestic dispute at his residence, police said.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Joseph Bonomo, 44, of Willow Springs, was charged with aggravated domestic assault after a Feb. 9 incident in the 5100 block of Margaret Curtis Lane, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A Midlothian woman told police that four to six men, one holding a handgun, confronted her Feb. 11 and ordered her to open her apartment door in the 14600 block of Keystone Avenue. The woman said she ran away. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

CAR THEFT: A 2007 Chevrolet Impala was stolen Feb. 13 from a parking lot in the 3000 block of 147th Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE: Kerry Harrell, 24, 14519 Keystone Ave., Apt. 8, Midlothian, was charged with criminal damage to property after breaking a door frame during a Feb. 15 argument, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Joshua Foster, 19, 15819 Page Ave., Harvey, was charged with possession of marijuana after a Feb. 15 stop in the 15000 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Michael Donahue, 56, 14606 Kolin Ave., Midlothian, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 16 argument over a relative taking a without his permission, police said. They said King Assaf, 18, of the same address, was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle after taking the car.

PURLOINED PURSE: A Frankfort woman told police someone stole her cellphone and $100 from her purse Feb. 17 while she slept over at a home in the 15200 block of Lawndale Avenue.

OAK FOREST

THEFT: About $13,800 worth of equipment was stolen between Dec. 30 and Jan. 31 from Crushing & Screening Equipment, a storage yard at 4011 W. 165th St., police said.

HOME BURGLARY: A computer tablet, a car license plate and various other items were stolen between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5 from an apartment in the 5800 block of Corey Lane.

DUI ARREST: Rojelio Pineda-Alameda, 32, 5831 Corey Lane, Oak Forest, was charged with drunken driving, driving without a valid license, no insurance, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after rear-ending a car Feb. 3 at Albert Drive and Central Avenue and then fleeing the scene, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Angela Izquierdo, 27, of Waukegan, was charged with domestic battery after a Feb. 6 incident at a home in the 15900 block of LeClaire Avenue, police said.

COKE CHARGE: Greg Ozmin, 28, 14011 Laramie Ave., Crestwood, was charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia after being questioned by police Feb. 12 outside of Cindy’s Pub, 5230 W. 159th St., police said.

POT POSSESSION: Erik Kottler, 34, 15531 New England Ave., Oak Forest, was charged with possession of marijuana after a Feb. 14 stop at 143rd Street and Central Avenue, police said.

SUV THEFT: A 2002 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen Feb. 14 when it was left running outside an apartment complex in the 5000 block of 159th Street.

HIT AND RUN: Jose Ramirez-Fidencio, 26, 15816 Carse Ave., Harvey, was charged with hit and run after crashing into another car Feb. 18 at 153rd Street and Cicero Avenue and then leaving the scene of the accident, police said.
