St. Christopher hosts 5K Walk/Run

St. Christopher School in Midlothian recently hosted its inaugural 5K Walk/Run. More than 330 walkers and runners participated.
After a prayer led by the Rev. Mark Walter, pastor at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Midlothian Mayor Terry Stephens fired the starter’s gun to begin the race.
The first-place male winner was Pablo Herrejen, of Midlothian, who won in a time of 16:18. The first-place female winner was Rachel Dulay, of Arlington Heights, who won in a time of 19:37.
After the race, people stayed for food, music and children’s entertainment.
