Oak Ridge fundraiser a success

The Oak Ridge Elementary School PTA, along with fundraiser chairwoman Lisa Cesak, recently hosted the school’s annual Fall Fundraiser, which generated more than $5,400 to help pay for items for the school.

The top student sellers (who sold 25 items or more) were allowed to spend 15 seconds in a plastic money machine. Their classmates were on-hand to cheer them on. When it was over, the students walked away with a total of $200.

The PTA board and its members said they are looking forward to their upcoming meetings, where they will allocate the funds throughout the school.
