The board of trustees at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School recently hosted Celebration 2012. The event featured cocktails, dinner, a raffle and auction, and music by the City Lights Orchestra.

The annual event benefits the Mother McAuley Endowment for Student Scholarship and Financial Aid.

“We are indebted to those who have been part of our growth since the beginning, and we hope to increase the number of donors and advocates for our cause,” said school president Christine Melone.

“Greater tuition assistance is a key benefit of growing the endowment, especially for families who otherwise would forgo a Catholic education due to cost. By supporting McAuley, donors make a tangible expression of their dedication to our students and mission.”

During the ceremony, the Boyle Family was honored with the Catherine McAuley Leadership Award, and Mary Kean Coffey received the Distinguished Alumna Award. The Sister Agatha O’Brien Catholic Service Award was presented to the Rev. Marty O’Donovan.
