The National Honor Society and Drama Club from Richards High School recently hosted the ninth annual dinner-theater production for the Oak Lawn Senior Citizen Center.

NHS students served a catered dinner, followed by the spring musical “The 25th Annaul Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Desserts prepared by culinary arts teacher Rob Staudacher and his students capped the meal.

“NHS looks forward to this event all year, and the seniors always enjoy the event,” said NHS faculty sponsor Dorothy Groff. “They get a great meal, talk with our students and experience our talented drama and choral students in the spring musical.”
