Several Oak Lawn Community High School students recently attended the 48th annual SkillsUSA State Competition in Springfield, Ill.
Students who were recognized for their achievements include: Jeff Emanuelson (11th place) in Adobe Photoshop Design; Jake Clancy (40th place) in Computer Maintenance Technology; Selin Calbay (first place), Tiffanie Triner (fifth place) and Kim Ruane (11th place), all in Creative Photography Digital Color Display; Jennifer Stone (first place) in Customer Service; and John Morgan (sixth place) and Jill Steigerwald (eighth place), both in Food and Beverage Service.
Other students recognized for their achievements include Katie Mendez (third place) in Job Interview; Dylan Trotto (fourth place) in Personal Narrative; Justin Pendergast (fifth place), Katie Sandrik (sixth place), Eric Walsh (seventh place) and Kristy Paul (11th place), all in Related Technical Math; and Erin Pratl (first place), Erin Fahy (fourth place) and Athena Ramsaran (ninth place), all in Suitcase.
