BASKETBALL
Palos Hills: Moraine Valley Community College will hold a summer basketball camp for kids entering grades three to eight from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 16 to 19. The camp will be led by Bill Finn, Moraine Valley athletic director and former men’s basketball coach. Fee: $70. FOOTBALL
Chicago: St. Rita High School and football coach Todd Kuska will host a football fundamentals camp for fifth grade students to incoming freshmen from July 9 to 12. Fifth to eighth graders will practice from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and incoming freshmen from noon to 2:30 p.m. Fee: $90. Palos Hills: The sixth annual District 230 Foundation golf outing will be held July 23 at Silver Lake Country Club. Registration begins at 8 a.m. the day of the event. VARIOUS SPORTS
Burbank: Queen of Peace High School will conduct sports camp sessions for grades one to 12 during the months of June and July under the direction of the high school coaching staff and athletes. Camps in basketball, volleyball, softball, soccer, tennis, golf and track and cross country will be offered. In addition to the traditional instructional camps, there are junior coed camps for boys and girls entering grades one to three and specialty camps in several sports for middle school and high school girls.
