Daniella Julian, of Chicago’s Mount Greenwood community, was one of several Maria High School students who recently toured the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago.

Julian is a member of the school’s Audio-Visual/Media Communications Club.

Students viewed and interacted with the museum’s exhibits and learned of the evolution of American radio and television broadcasting.

At Maria, the group is responsible for producing the WMYS televised announcements. The show is broadcast live over all classroom televisions every morning.
