Meghan Senjanin, a faculty member at the Lourdes Hall Campus for Young Women at De La Salle Institute, recently was recognized for her efforts in spearheading the annual Teens for Jeans initiative at the school.
Senjanin and students at the Lourdes Hall Campus helped De La Salle finish in the top 100 schools in collecting the most jeans during the fifth campaign.
Thousands of schools throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico collected more than 1 million pairs of jeans. All of the jeans collected assist the Teens for Jeans organization in its fight against teen homelessness.
Senjanin has been a member of De La Salle’s faculty since the outset of the 2008-09 school year.
