POT POSSESSION: Elizabeth Reyes, 25, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana Aug. 3 after a stop at 99th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: An air conditioning unit was stolen between Aug. 8 and 16 from a house in the 4800 block of 93rd Street.

DRUG ARREST: Lawrence J. Burke, 34, 10625 Austin Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with possession of a controlled substance Aug. 9 following a stop at 89th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Nijole Rackauskiene, 58, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated battery of a senior citizen Aug. 9 after a disturbance at an apartment in the 10400 block of Mansfield Avenue, police said.

ASSAULT: Gary S. Parks, 56, 9720 Brandt Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with assault and resisting arrest after an Aug. 9 incident at his home, police said.

DRUG CHARGE: Robert J. Sanchez, 42, of Chicago, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after being stopped Aug. 9 at 98th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Erick Gusman, 21, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft Aug. 10 after he stole alcohol from Jewel-Osco, 9424 Pulaski Road, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Robert Zloza, 18, 10543 Major Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with possession of marijuana Aug. 10 after a stop at Tomcin Trail and Jordan Drive, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: An iPod, two pairs of glasses, a Netbook, phone charger, gift certificates, reading glasses and a beach bag were stolen Aug. 10 from a car in the 6800 block of 95th Street.

THEFT: A scooter was stolen Aug. 10 or 11 from the hallway of an apartment building in the 9500 block of Mansfield Avenue.

CAR THEFT: An employee’s car was stolen Aug. 11 from Mancari’s, 4630 W. 95th St.

DUI ARREST: Marc D. Burkett, 41, 9243 Lynwood Drive, Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving, driving in the wrong lane, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving without a valid license Aug. 11 after a stop at 91st Street and Moody Avenue, police said.

DUI CHARGE: John E. Cusack, 25, 12208 Millard Ave., Alsip, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after he was stopped Aug. 12 at 111th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Jeremy J. Norton, 18, 10749 McVicker Ave., Chicago Ridge, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug equipment, and Kile Senodenos, 18, 4168 W. 107th St., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor Aug. 12 following a stop in the 4100 block of 107th Street, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Thomas Seem, 25, 10618 Ridgemont Lane, Chicago Ridge, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a stop Aug. 12 in the 11000 block of Jordan Lane, police said.

MARIJUANA ARREST: Kevin J. Carrig, 34, 9427 S. 86th Court, Hickory Hills, was charged with possession of marijuana and speeding after an Aug. 13 stop at 86th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

STOLEN CARS: Two cars were stolen Aug. 13 or 14 from the service area of Haggerty Volkswagen, 8920 Cicero Ave.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Richard E. Hill, 33, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Aug. 14 at 91st Place and Pulaski Road, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Timothy A. White, 23, 6 Corinth Court, Tinley Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug equipment following an Aug. 14 stop at 95th Street and Springfield Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Candace Fountain, 21, of Naperville, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance Aug. 15 after a stop in the 6300 block of 95th Street, police said.

VANDALISM: The windshields of four cars were smashed Aug. 15 or 16 while parked in a lot in the 5200 block of 95th Street.

RETAIL THEFT: Imani Alston, 18, of Riverdale, was charged with retail theft Aug. 16 after she stole merchandise from Target, 4120 W. 95th St., police said.

DUI CASE: Matthew Swistowicz, 29, 11011 Lloyd Drive, Worth, was charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest, no insurance and speeding after a stop Aug. 16 at 102nd Place and Ridgeland Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mark A. Dillard, 49, of Calumet Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having tinted windows and driving without a license plate Aug. 16 after a stop at 105th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dominic Gulli, 27, 9520 Massasoit Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no insurance and leaving the scene of an accident after an Aug. 16 stop at 95th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

LICENSE SUSPENDED: Daniel D. Dickerson, 29, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, improper lighting and no front plate after he was stopped Aug. 17 at 89th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUV BURGLARY: Stereo equipment valued at $2,000 was stolen Aug. 17 from a Chevrolet Suburban in 8700 block of Cicero Avenue.

RETAIL THEFT: Anthony P. Peck, 25, 6437 W. 94th St., Oak Lawn, was charged with retail theft Aug. 17 after he stole a jersey from Marshalls, 9601 Cicero Ave., police said. They said Peck returned the jersey to the store 15 minutes later because he “felt bad.”

DUI ARREST: Anthony Tornatore, 23, 9420 Utica Ave., Evergreen Park, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, speeding, improper lane use and no insurance after an Aug. 17 stop at 95th Street and Keeler Avenue, police said.

HOME BURGLARY: Two diamond rings and $190 cash were stolen Aug. 17 from an apartment in the 4500 block of Rumsey Avenue.
