DUI ARREST: Demetrio Arroyo Jr., 42, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, unlawful use of a weapon, speeding, no insurance and improper lane use Aug. 25 after a stop at 106th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said. They said Arroyo was carrying a loaded pistol in a shoulder holster and told police he was returning from a motorcycle club meeting where members wanted to kill him.
ASSAULT: Ruth R. Burns, 26, of Itasca, was charged with assault after an Aug. 28 disturbance at Sushi Tyme Restaurant, 4959 W. 95th St., police said.
VANDALISM: An electrical panel and meter at an apartment in the 9300 block of Harlem Avenue were damaged Aug. 28.
BATTERY: Gregory Key, 25, and Gerry Pomperlee, 22, both of 9333 Harlem Ave., Oak Lawn, were charged with battery after an Aug. 29 incident at their apartment complex, police said.
LICENSE SUSPENDED: Mustafa Ghouleh, 24, 6415 W. 84th St., Burbank, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Aug. 29 at 92nd Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.
SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jarmel R. Cotton, 41, of Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after an Aug. 29 stop at 99th Street and Kostner Avenue, police said.
DUI ALLEGED: Verenice Sanchez, 23, 9521 Lawton Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after she was stopped Aug. 30 at 95th Street and 54th Avenue, police said.
