Richards High School in Oak Lawn recently inducted a new group of students into its chapter of National Honor Society for the 2012-13 school year.
Criteria for National Honor Society membership include a GPA of at least 3.2/4.0 and participation in at least four extracurricular activities (five if the student is a senior). Students cannot receive academic credit or compensation for the activities. To remain in NHS they must continue membership in school activities as well as participate in NHS service projects.
Students inducted include Suzan Ahamad, Amanda Alba, Meagan Albon, Evangelo Anagnostopoulos, Gelique Ayala, Sahar Barakat, Kiersten Bergquist, Tambra Bullock, Gervacio Cabel, Jason Callan, Summer Campbell and Krystina Carriglio.
Other inductees include Shawn Chiaramonte, Agata Chmiel, Brendan Coughlin, Tatiana Dixon, Madeline Doon, Lydia Fitting, Neil Flood, Adam Fritz, Jacob Gacek, Kyle Garrett, Hali Gertz, Hanna Grochal, Kaitlyn Gruszkowski, Eda Guven, Tyler Hancock, Aeja Hill, Chloe Kasper, Alec Kleczkowski, Daniel Krasich and Eric Krasich.
Inductees also include Briana LaPapa, Sarah Lavelle, Nicholas Lisowski, Juliet Lucente, Michael Marchione, Carolyn Mayer, Matthew Mazan, Sara McNeilly, Jordan Moeller, Muaz Musa, Murad Musa, Justin Naval and Ernesto Ojeda.
Other inductees include Collin Page, Connor Page, Amanda Perez, Lauren Quadrizius, Mariel Rancel, Hiba Rashed, Nicole Reed, Devon Reyes, Alec Rigik, Andreea Rusu, Olivia Ryan, Kyle Schrage, McKayla Smith, Anne Sortino, Robert Straits, John Sutko, Cheyenee Syring, Sara Tobin and Michael Walt.
