BASKETBALL
Chicago Ridge: The Chicago Ridge Park District is taking registration for boys basketball leagues open to kids in grades four to eight. Information: (708) 423-3959.
Chicago: Mount Carmel High School will host an eighth-grade boys basketball tournament Dec. 2, 8 and 9. The tournament will have public and private school brackets, culminating in an overall champion, second place, third place and a consolation champion. All teams are guaranteed at least two games.
