Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart was the keynote speaker at Trinity Christian College’s annual Jubilation fundraiser in October.

Dart talked about finding better ways to address the problems faced by inmates and others in seemingly hopeless situations and commended Trinity for partnering with organizations that provide hope and resources to those in need in the Chicago area.

The event was titled “Celebrating Trinity’s Urban Embrace” and highlighted the college’s partnerships with Circle Urban Ministries, Restoration Ministries, By the Hand Club for Kids and Roseland Christian Ministries, where many students volunteer throughout the academic year.

The event was held in the college’s new Trinity Athletics and Recreation Complex.
