Queen of Peace High School recently played host to Mother McAuley High School in a series of volleyball matches to benefit Rally for a Cure, which raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research.

The event raised more than $2,700 through T-shirt sales and raffles. The money will be donated to the Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation and the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk.

For the past five years, the two schools have alternated hosting the event, and students have raised nearly $20,000 for breast cancer research.
