St. Laurence High School in Burbank recently hosted a program honoring veterans from all branches of service.
Attending veterans were paired with a student who acted as a personal host throughout the morning.
The day began with breakfast in the cafeteria, followed by a school tour and a veterans program in the library.
“It was a wonderful event, both for the veterans who came and for our student body,” Principal Jim Muting said. “We were honored to do this for the men and women who gave so much to their country. We very much look forward to doing it again next year.”
