Shepard inducts students into National Honor Society

Shepard High School in Palos Heights recently inducted a new group of students into its chapter of National Honor Society.
Criteria for National Honor Society membership include a GPA of at least 3.2/4.0 and participation in at least four extracurricular activities (five if the student is a senior).
Students cannot receive academic credit or compensation for the activities. To remain in NHS they must continue membership in school activities as well as participate in NHS service projects.
NHS students inducted include Haya Alalfi, Briona Allen, Christopher Bailey, Dania Ballout, Lindsie Bliss, Stephanie Brand, Rebecca Bruesch, Ashley Buksa, Lajaniece Burnett, Tristan Busch and Sabina Choragwicki.
Other NHS students include Patricia Clohessy, Collin Crowl, Bridget Curry, Desiree Davis, Alondra Delfin, Madeline Dziedzic, Jacqueline Evans, Dan Ewers, Jenifer Fitzgerald, Corey Galvin and Krystal Goldschmidt.
Other inductees include Nicholas Heidinger, Samuel Hermanas, Brendan Hermann, Gladys Herrera, Alexandra Joiner, David Jones, Melissa Kelly, Kimberly Kosman, Amy Lagerstrom and Jordan Loman.
Inductees also include Kaley Lorch, Ivan MagaƱa, Joshua Maier, Bryce Marrello, Tiana Martin, Chrystal McAlpin, Colleen McInerney, Nora McMahon, Enrique Montoya, Reem Motan, Luke Oprondek, Mitchell Pearl, Michael Peretz, Brian Pioppo and Scarlet Quiroz.
Other inductees includedMariana Reyes, Dulcle Santoyo, Matthew Scott, Jennifer Shapiro, Stephen Szajek, Cassius Vassalla, Christian Wallace, Janek Wasag, Dyriana Washington, Stephanie Washington, Natasha Wierzal, Megan Williamson, Shana Woodland, Rowida Zatar, Rawan Zayed and Nicholas Zuiker.
