Megan Bradbury is helping fellow teens fight cancer.
The 14-year-old recently took the money she got for her birthday and for Christmas and bought gifts to help the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation, a nonprofit that delivers toys and gifts to children and teen cancer patients.
“I’m always looking for a nice thing to do and I think the Treasure Chest Foundation is a great way to help other teens,” Bradbury said in a news release.
The Orland Park-based foundation’s services help more than 7,900 young cancer patients each month.
