During the last eight years, Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School has raised more than $310,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.
“Through this effort, we have been able to grant 59 wishes to local children who have life-threatening illnesses,” official said.
On Feb. 8 more than 1,000 people attended the OLHMS Volleyball Tournament and raised more than $3,600.
