At a recent meeting of Southwest Suburban Conference principals, Stagg High School advanced culinary arts students prepared breakfast.
Part of the culinary arts curriculum is catering events. This provides hands-on experience for students who are considering entering the field as a career.
The Education “Wonder” Land menu consisted of Standards-Based strawberry smoothies, Danielson Danish, PERA pumpkin cream cheese muffins and School Improvement skillet.
The latter dish was made of Evaluation eggs, Benchmark bacon and topped with Common Core cheddar cheese and served over Remediation red potatoes.
