The annual Spring Fling dance, which was hosted by Stagg High School’s Council for Exceptional Children, recently took place at the Palos Hills school.

The Council for Exceptional Children works to improve the educational success of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents.

For their community service project this year, the girls Stagg soccer team was present to volunteer for the festivities that evening.

They aided in decorations and preparation for the 150 guests. The girls also helped check in guests, serve food and, most importantly, dance and have a great time, officials said.

According to officials, the girls soccer program and the Council for Exceptional Children worked together to put together a tremendous evening.

“We hope to make this an ongoing tradition for many years to come,” officials said.
