What one person from history do you want to meet?
“Elvis Presley. My dogs are named Elvis and Priscilla. I’m a huge fan We’ve been to Graceland eight times. I love the ’50s, the music was awesome and he is the King of Rock and Roll.”
What book are you reading?
“I just started ‘Fifty Shades of Grey.’ A girlfriend read it and gave to me saying, ‘Here, try this.’ ”
What are your hobbies?
“This may sound weird, especially at my age, but I love to do jigsaw puzzles. I have one that is beautiful, the Twin Towers with the sun behind them with the American flag on it. I like Sudoku puzzles, too.”
What do you like about Oak Lawn?
“I like Fall on the Green. There’s a sense of community there. Now that my kids are getting older, we like the summer reading program at the library. The summer concerts and outdoor movies are fun too.”
If you were elected mayor, what would you do first?
“I’d cut the number of village trustees. We have six, but how big is the area? What do they do? They argue a lot. I do love my trustee (Alex Olejniczak), we go to the same church.”
