Stagg High School to host college admissions roundtable on Sept. 12

Stagg High School will host a Parent University College Admissions Roundtable at 6 p.m. Sept. 12.
The event at the Palos Hills School will provide students and parents the opportunity to interact in a small group setting with admissions panelists from several universities and colleges.
Participating public universities include the University of Illinois, Illinois State, University of Illinois at Chicago, Eastern Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Iowa and Michigan State.
Private universities include DePaul, Loyola, Bradley, Elmhurst, Illinois Wesleyan, St. Xavier and Lewis.
Following general discussions related to public and private universities, specialized panel discussions will be held.
Preceding the panel sessions, juniors and their families will receive practice ACT score results from the test taken in April and will learn about the next steps available through the school and other resources.
During panel discussions, representatives from the universities and colleges will address engineering, pre-health, business and education programs
