Recreation opportunities abound in Palos Hills

The Palos Hills Community Resource & Recreation Department will offer new programs at the Palos Hills Community Center, 8455 W. 103rd St., according to a news release from the recreation department.
Registration is underway for all of the following programs at the center:
AKC dog and puppy classes will run Wednesday evenings from Oct. 2 to Nov. 6. The price is $75 for residents and $80 for nonresidents.
Zumba classes will be held on Mondays from Sept. 23 to Oct. 28. Classes start at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $36 for residents and $41 for nonresidents.
Cardio Kick classes will be held on Tuesdays from Sept. 24 to Nov. 12. Classes start at 7 p.m. and cost $48 for residents and $53 for nonresidents.
Salsa classes will be held on Tuesdays from Sept. 24 to Oct. 22. Classes start at 6 p.m. for beginners and 7 p.m. for intermediate dancers. The cost is $50 per person.
Several parent-tot classes will be offered starting in September, October and November. Making New Friends classes will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 24 to Oct. 29. Parent and Tots Sports classes will run from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Thursdays from Oct. 7 to Nov. 11. Time Out For Run classes will be held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Nov. 7 to Dec. 19. The cost for these classes is $25 for residents and $30 for nonresidents.
