What are your hobbies?
“We just had this conversation. I need a hobby. That’s my hobby, looking for a hobby. I’m so busy with work and kids. I need to find something that’s relaxing.”
What’s your prized possession?
“My children, my family. I’m married to Mike Haas. Ian is 6 and Anna is 2. They’re so much fun. We always say we’re not mature enough to be parents, because of the silly things we do with our kids, but they love it. I hope they remember it.”
What do you like about Oak Lawn?
“It’s truly a community in all senses of the word. People know each other here. They grew up here. Their families are here. It’s just an amazing community.”
What would you do if you were mayor for a day?
“I’d ride to work in a fire truck. If I could pull up with the sirens on and make an entrance, that would be great.”
Which person from history do you want to meet?
“Annie Leibovitz. I actually met her when I was in college and have a photo of us together. She took the photo of us with my disposal camera. I like her vision. She’s creative and not afraid to take chances. She’s a mom and doing all these amazing things.”
