What is your hobby?
“I’d have to say raising my children. It’s how I spend all my free time, with my children. I have two girls, 10 and 7, and a 14-month-old boy. They really keep me busy.”
What do you like about living in Oak Lawn?
“The proximity to Chicago. I love that. It’s fabulous. And we still have a quiet suburban feel. I like that. I know this may sound crazy, but I love all the trees.”
What would you do if you were mayor for a day?
“I’d want more bike paths in town. I’d push for that. I enjoy riding my bike.”
What book are you reading now?
“I am reading ‘The Cuckoo’s Calling.’ It’s J.K. Rowling’s adult novel, but she wrote it using another name. I love her Harry Potter books. This one I like, so far, so good. I’m only 75 pages into it.”
Which person from history do you want to meet?
“I’m torn between Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King. I guess because both men did such significant work to bring equality and freedom to those who needed it. I don’t know what I’d ask them.”
