Oak Lawn police blotter

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Sylvia Trammel, 28, of Rockford, was charged with driving on a suspended license and using a vehicle in a crime after a stop Sept. 29 in the 4700 block of 95th Street, police said. They said an officer stopped the car because it was reported stolen Sept. 26 in Rockford. A passenger, Patricia Chatman, 21, of Philadelphia, was charged with possession of marijuana, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Gregory Howard, 33, 150 W. Maple, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license Sept. 29 after a stop in the 4700 block of 105th Street, police said.

BATTERY: Horacio Laguna, 46, 8120 W. 143rd Place, Orland Park; Servando Hernandez-Sanchez, 29, 14001 Western Ave., Dixmoor; and Edgar Hernandez-Sanchez, 28, 2728 Union St., Blue Island, were each charged with battery after attacking another motorist, a 38-year-old Orland Park man, during a traffic dispute Sept. 30 in the 8700 block of Ridgeland Avenue, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: Six compact discs and an iPod were stolen Sept. 30 or Oct. 1 from an unlocked vehicle in the 10400 block of Mayfield Avenue, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A notebook computer, a GPS system and loose change were stolen Oct. 1 from a car in the 5000 block of Lamb Drive.

GRAFFITI: Black spray paint was used to depict the Chicago skyline Oct. 1 on the north wall of the Oak Lawn Racquetball Club, 10444 Central Ave.

THEFT: $91.25 in quarters was stolen Oct. 1 from a coin-operated vacuum outside the BP gas station, 11040 Pulaski Road.

WEAPON CHARGE: James McPhee, 48, 10436 Kenneth Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged Oct. 1 with unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful use of body armor and criminal trespass after he refused to leave the 7-Eleven store, 10441 Cicero Ave., police said. They said he was wearing a protective vest and had a collapsible steel baton.

THEFT: A hanging fern, two potted plants and a solar lamp were stolen Oct. 1 or 2 from a yard in the 6500 block of 91st Place.

DRUG CHARGE: Jesse Mitchell, 20, 201 E. Woodlawn Road, New Lenox, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found unresponsive Oct. 2 in the parkway at Southwest highway and Kenton Avenue, with a hypodermic needle sticking out of his pocket, police said.

VANDALISM: A car was keyed Oct. 2 or 3 in the 5700 block of Circle Drive.

VAN BURGLARY: Two sets of golf clubs and bags, an acetylene torch and a leak tester kit were stolen Oct. 2 or 3 from a van in the 4000 block of 91st Place.

PILFERED PHONE: A cellphone was stolen Oct. 3 from a car in the 5600 block of 87th Street.

POT POSSESSION: Thomas Badie, 32, 14130 S. 88th Ave., Orland Park, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest after police found him Oct. 3 with a scale, grinder and crack pipe in the 9800 block of Southwest Highway, police said.
