What’s the last movie you saw?
“The last one was ‘World War Z.’ I thought it was good. It was very tense. Brad Pitt did well. It was amazing. What blew my mind was how fast people would change. Fantastic movie.”
What do you like about Oak Lawn?
“It still has that down-home, small-town feel to me. I love the people here. They are amazing. Blue-collar. Hard-working. Great values. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.”
What is your prized possession?
“My children. I have three. They are 22, 23 and 28. One is a student at Moraine Valley, my daughter works at J.P. Morgan, and the oldest works for a corporation that owns a bunch of restaurants. So far so good, thanks to their mother.”
What is your hobby?
“Music. I play bass guitar for the band 4 On The Floor. We play country-rock. I have played guitar since I was 12. It’s a good hobby, opens up the left side of the brain.”
Which person from history do you want to meet?
“King Leonidas. He was the king of Sparta. He led 300 men against a much larger army from Persia. They made that movie ‘300’ about the battle. I’d like to know how he motivated those men to do that. What was going through his mind when he knew death was inevitable? That’s motivation. That’s a leader. That’s the guy I want to meet.”
