Three people were hurt, including a woman who had to be extricated from her car, in a crash Tuesday afternoon in Chicago Ridge, police said.
None of the injuries was serious, police said.
The crash happened just after noon at the intersection of Ridgeland Avenue and 99th Street, Chicago Ridge police Cmdr. Brian Galske said.
A 24-year-old woman driving a 2013 Nissan was turning left, and a vehicle behind her, driven by a 21-year-old woman, also was attempting to turn when they were struck by a semi truck whose driver did not see them, Galske said.
The woman driving the Nissan had to be cut out of her vehicle, Galske said.
The drivers of both cars and a 21-year-old passenger in the second car were taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The Nissan driver was cited for an improper left turn, Galske said.
