What are your hobbies?
“Catching up with ‘Breaking Bad’ on Netflix. And I also enjoy hanging out with my 5-year-old son Nathan. We go to the park and we play games.”
What do you like about Chicago Ridge?
“I love that it’s such a small community and that everyone looks out for each other.”
What’s the last movie you saw?
“The last movie I saw was ‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2’ with Nathan. It’s good, but I dozed off here and there. I liked the first one better. Nathan liked it.”
What would do if you were mayor for a day?
“I have to be careful. I know the mayor. But I’d bring more businesses to 111th Street. Our community needs more kid-friendly things.”
Which person from history do you want to meet?
“I’d have to say my mom, Margaret Ahern. She died when I was 2 1/2 years old. I remember her being at home and always cooking and baking. I know a lot about her from home videos. I was just watching them with Nathan. She had a heart attack. She was only 31. I wish her grandson knew her.”
