The village of Worth recently hosted the annual Halloween event, “Haunts Against Hunger,” to help the food pantry at Worth Methodist Church, according to a village official.

More than 250 participants met to raise awareness and collect items for local food pantries.

The event was sponsored by the Worth Police Department, and the annual Halloween parade was organized by Officer Tony Ritz, according to Trustee Colleen McElroy.
