Oak Lawn Mayor Sandra Bury is bringing Halloween to her office at village hall, 9446 Raymond Ave.
The first-year mayor will host a “Meet and Treat” from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday — Halloween — in her office
on the second floor.
“It’s getting a little spookier around the village hall. I would like parents to bring their little ‘monsters’ over,” she said at the board meeting Oct. 22.
The first 100 trick-or-treaters will receive a plush Halloween toy. There will be plenty of sweet treats for all the visitors, she said.
“They’re welcome to sit at my desk for a photo, with me or without,” Bury said. “Everyone is welcome.”
