The theme for Wilkins Elementary School Red Ribbon Week was “Hand in Hand United We Stand Against Drugs and Bullying.”

To show their individual pledges, all students were given an outline of a hand on which the students wrote or drew something pertaining to the theme. The ‘hands’ were displayed throughout the school in a linked line along the wall outside each classroom to show school unity.

Students also wore red ribbons and participated in dress-up days.

The Wilkins’ Red Ribbon Week celebration ended with a Staff vs. Student Basketball Game. The staff was victorious after a “nail-biter” competition.
