OAK LAWN

BURGLARY: A stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer were stolen between Oct. 13 and 23 from a vacant house in the 4800 block of 93rd Street.

VANDALISM: Graffiti was carved into a wooden garage door and a condo door between Oct. 14 and 28 in the 10400 block of Mansfield Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Brandon Mormon, 22, 10502 Ridgeland Ave., #8, Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having expired registration Oct. 16 after a stop in the 5700 block of 95th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Terry Patterson, 27, 10232 Pulaski Road, #32, Oak Lawn, was charged Oct. 16 with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and having expired registration after being stopped in the 4000 block of 100th Street, police said.

THEFT: James Booker, 49, 3343 W. 83rd Place, Chicago, was charged with theft of service Oct. 16 after he skipped out on a $12.69 bill at Hooters, 9159 Cicero Ave., police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Steven Broderick, 24, 10401 Keating Ave., #1D, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Oct. 17 in the 6000 block of 95th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Daniel Ramirez III, 24, 10736 Pulaski Road, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a stop Oct. 17 in the 10500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A cellphone was stolen Oct. 18 from a car in the 9200 block of Cicero Avenue.

HOME BURGLARY: A television was stolen Oct. 18 from a house in the 10900 block of Keeler Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Juan Cortez, 27, 12436 Tripp Ave., Alsip, was charged with drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance after an Oct. 18 stop at 93rd Street and Karlov Avenue, police said. They said an off-duty Cook County sheriff’s police officer saw Cortez hit a vehicle in the 9300 block of Pulaski Road and drive away, and the officer pursued him and detained him until police arrived.

PLATE STOLEN: A rear license plate was stolen Oct. 18 or 19 from a car in the 10400 block of Central Avenue.

THEFT: A cellphone was stolen Oct. 19 from the gymnasium at Richards High School, 10601 Central Ave.

DUI ALLEGED: Johnny Martinez, 26, 14900 Rockwell Ave., Harvey, was charged with drunken driving and speeding Oct. 19 after a stop in the 10400 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: Christopher Vanek, 26, 10534 S. Hamlin Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving Oct. 19 after he was unable to explain how his car wound up in the front yard of a house in the 4300 block of Kathleen Lane, police said. They said an officer found him wandering nearby.

BATTERY: Patrick Dodson, 35, 5147 W. 90th St., Oak Lawn, was charged with battery Oct. 19 after he punched a 55-year-old Burbank man at Oak View Park, 4625 W. 110th St., following a youth soccer game, police said.

DUI CASE: John Steadman, 46, 919 W. 86th Place, Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, and improper parking Oct. 19 in the 9400 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: Jorge Garcia, 42, 2744 W. 38th Place, Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, speeding and having illegal handlebars on a motorcycle Oct. 19 after a stop on Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A car vacuum machine was broken into and $79.50 in quarters was stolen Oct. 19 in the 11000 block of Pulaski Road.

VANDALISM: Three tires were slashed Oct. 19 or 20 on a car in the 10800 block of Keating Avenue.

THEFT: Paris Polk, 22, 321 N. Mason, Chicago, was charged with theft of service Oct. 20 after she and a man left without paying a $21.39 bill at TGIFridays, 5420 W. 95th St., police said.

BATTERY: Pierre Curry Jr., 21, 9904 S. Hoxie Ave., Chicago, was charged with battery, resisting police and disorderly conduct after a disturbance Oct. 20 at Chuck E. Cheese, 4031 W. 95th St., police said. They said Darius Cattron, 23, 6940 S. Normal Ave., Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass, obstructing police and disorderly conduct after the two men were asked to leave the restaurant.

TRESPASSING: Jermaine Wilson, 21, 5640 S. Artesian Ave., Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass Oct. 20 after he was found sleeping in the vestibule of a condominium building in the 10100 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM: A plastic recycling bin was set ablaze Oct. 20 in the 6100 block of 93rd Street.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: Loose change worth $3 to $5 was stolen Oct. 20 or 21 from a car in the 4500 block of 110th Place.

SOLICITING: Brian Tumpach, 26, 8616 S. 78th Court, Justice, was charged with soliciting without a permit after he was seen Oct. 21 asking people for money in the parking lot of a strip mall in the 4800 block of 96th Place, police said.

TRUCK BURGLARY: Miscellaneous items and $20 were stolen Oct. 21 from a truck in the 4700 block of 105th Street.

THEFT: Four hubcaps were stolen Oct. 21 from a Ford Focus in the 4900 block of 109th Street.

VANDALISM: A pole was cut down Oct. 21 at Columbus Manor Park, 9953 Moody Ave., and copper electrical wires inside were stolen.

BURGLARY: Jewelry was stolen from an apartment in the 9500 block of Mayfield Avenue. The tenant told police that she discovered the jewelry missing Oct. 21 but thinks the burglary occurred Aug. 8 when she noticed a large crack in a door frame.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anthony Miller-Robinson, 23, 9809 Pulaski Road, U#2E, Evergreen Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after an Oct. 22 stop in the 4500 block of 95th Street, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Alaa Ebaid, 32, 10401 Austin Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a revoked license and no insurance after an Oct. 22 stop in the 4500 block of 95th Street, police said.

NO LICENSE: Stevan Owens, 21, 4817 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago,was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance, speeding and not wearing a seat belt after a stop Oct. 22 at Cicero Avenue and 106th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Caitlin Warwick, 19, 4112 W. 99th Place, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after an Oct. 22 stop at 95th Street and Harlem Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A woman’s wallet containing $150 was stolen Oct. 22 from her purse while she shopped at the Salvation Army thrift shop, 8732 Cicero Ave.

DUI CASE: Christine Ross, 37, 8815 Beck Place, Hometown, was charged with drunken driving, failure to yield, driving on a suspended license and no insurance after hitting a police car Oct. 22 as she was leaving a fast-food restaurant in the 4700 block of 95th Street, police said.
