Lyle adds to pile for Pajama Program

Updated: April 3, 2014 6:03AM

The student ambassadors at Lyle Elementary School in Bridgeview recently collected pajamas and books to support the Pajama Program, which provides new pajamas and books to children in need worldwide.

The group’s motto is “Help us deliver 1 million good nights.”

Thanks to the student ambassadors, supervisor Cathaleen Novak, and the generous donations from Lyle staff and students, The Pajama Program is closer to reaching its goal. In a recent two-week span, 47 pairs of warm pajamas and 22 children’s book were collected.
