THEFT: A 60-year-old Oak Lawn woman told police that someone stole jewelry worth $9,400 from her apartment in the 6200 block of 94th Street between Aug. 4 and Dec. 24.

WARRANT ARREST: Thomas Jones, 22, 8634 Menard Ave., Burbank, was arrested on a Coles County warrant for failure to pay fines and was charged with speeding and no insurance after a stop Dec. 19 in the 9500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Vanessa Jones, 54, 12150 Vincennes Ave., Blue Island, was arrested on a Justice warrant for driving on a suspended license and was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a Dec. 19 stop at 95th Street and Melvina Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jerry Cole, 12336 Elizabeth, Calumet Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having expired registration and no insurance Dec. 20 after a stop in the 5400 block of 95th Street, police said.

VANDALISM: A glass door was broken Dec. 20 in a condominium building in the 9700 block of Karlov Avenue.

BATTERY: Dominic Gulli, 28, 9520 Massasoit Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with battery Dec. 20 after he punched a 43-year-old Minooka man at a job site in the 5000 block of Harnew Road, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Tyrone Griffin, 31, 8736 S. Harper Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having expired registration, driving with only one headlight and no insurance after a he was stopped Dec. 20 in the 9600 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

PURLOINED PURSE: A man driving a van pulled alongside a 52-year-old Burbank woman and stole her purse containing $400 on Dec. 21 in the parking lot of Jewel-Osco, 8801 Ridgeland Ave.

WARRANT ARREST: Ronald Jackson, 58, 8417 S. Throop St., Chicago, was arrested Dec. 21 on a Kane County warrant for failure to appear in a drunken driving case and was charged with driving on a revoked license after a stop in the 10200 block of 52nd Avenue, police said.

ASSAULT: Syndana Martin, 34, 3244 W. Douglas Blvd., Unit 1, Chicago, was charged with assault Dec. 21 after she argued with another woman in the 4400 block of 95th Street, police said.

NO LICENSE: Edgar Cordova-Mendoza, 19, 4310 S. Wood St., Unit 1B, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, speeding and no insurance after a Dec. 21 stop at 95th Street and Natoma Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Uriel Vega, 19, 4759 S. Hermitage Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, improper lane use and no insurance after a stop Dec. 21 in the 4100 block of 103rd Street, police said. They said Mateo Rodriguez, 25, 1940 S. Racine Ave., Chicago, was charged with transporting open alcohol in a vehicle.

DUI CHARGE: Natalie Preston, 31, 748 S. Western Ave., Unit 2, Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, and illegal transportation of alcohol Dec. 21 after a stop in the 8700 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A 32-year-old Oak Lawn man’s wallet was reported stolen Dec. 21 at Jewel-Osco, 9424 Pulaski Road.

NO LICENSE: Ezequiel Martinez, 51, 3544 W. 80th Place, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license after being stopped Dec. 21 at Southwest Highway and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Natasha Tyler, 35, 6047 S. Artesian Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a Dec. 22 stop at 95th Street and Kilbourn Avenue, police said.

DUI CASE: Genaro Vasquez, 41, 3229 W. 65th Place, Unit 1, Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, running a stop sign, driving without a valid license, no insurance, transporting open alcohol and driving without headlights after a stop Dec. 22 in the 10800 block of Keeler Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jessica Noble, 24, 8159 LeClaire Ave., Burbank, was charged with driving on a suspended license, failure to dim headlights and no insurance Dec. 22 after a stop in the 8800 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM: A rear window on the driver’s side of a car was broken Dec. 22 in the 10300 block of Mansfield Avenue

DUI ARREST: Ryan Smith, 23, 6418 W. 92nd St., Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving, making an illegal turn and disobeying a traffic signal Dec. 22 after a stop at 87th Street and Natoma Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dorothy Davis, 34, 7411 S. Sangamon, Chicago, was charged driving on a suspended license and speeding after being stopped Dec. 22 in the 4800 block of 111th Street, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Miguel Martinez, 24, 9727 Tripp Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of marijuana, driving without a valid license and no insurance after he was stopped Dec. 24 in the 10200 block of Kedvale Avenue, police said.

GRINCH THEFT: A baby Jesus statue was stolen from a Nativity scene between Dec. 24 and 26 in the 5900 block of 89th Place.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Gary Johns, 26, 9706 Cicero Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, not wearing a seat belt and possession of drug paraphernalia after a Dec. 25 stop in the 10300 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

VANDALISM: A window was broken and a tire slashed Dec. 25 or 26 on a car in the 9200 block of 55th Avenue.

NO LICENSE: Yolanda Herrera, 51, 4758 S. Harding Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license Dec. 25 after a stop in the 92009 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

NO LICENSE: Josefine Sosa, 51, of 14518 S. Whipple Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and failure to yield after she was in an accident Dec. 26 in the 4700 block of 95th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Levina Chaplin, 38, 2724 W. 85th Place, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding, improper lane use and no insurance after a stop Dec. 26 at Southwest Highway and 55th Avenue, police said.
