The village of Palos Park and the Palos Park Public Library will present “The History of Palos Park: The Making of the Centennial Book” at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Palos Park Recreation Department, 8901 W. 123rd St.

The centennial anniversary of Palos Park is being celebrated in part with an illustrated presentation on the stories and photos behind the new “Palos Park” book, one in Arcadia Publishing’s “Images of America” series.

Refreshments will be served after the program, which is free and open to the public, according to a press release from the library. Signed copies of the book will be available for $21.99.
