VAN BURGLARY: Various tools were stolen Jan. 4 from a van in the 5400 block of Kimball Place.

NO LICENSE: Gelsio Osorio, 36, 2459 S. Avers, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance after being stopped Jan. 4 in the 9200 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

PHONE PILFERED: A cellphone was stolen Jan. 4 from a bag at LA Fitness, 8812 Cicero Ave.

DUI CHARGE: Jeffrey Hines, 22, 9906 Wood Lane, Palos Hills was charged with drunken driving, speeding, improper display of a license plate and having expired registration after a Jan. 4 stop in the 5000 block of 95th Street, police said.

WARRANT ARRESTS: Ulysses Green, 38, of Gary, was arrested on two warrants and charged with residential burglary Jan. 4 in the 10100 block of Kolin Avenue, police said. They said Green was wanted on a Sangamon County warrant for driving on a suspended license and on a Lake County, Ind., warrant for burglary.

NO LICENSE: Gelasio Osorio, 36, 2459 S. Avers Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license and no insurance after being stopped Jan. 4 in the 9200 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: Jillian Lindquist, 30, 9730 Southwest Highway, Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, possession of a controlled substance, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and no insurance Jan. 5 after a stop in the 4000 block of 105th Place, police said.

BURGLARY: A safe was stolen Jan. 7 or 8 from Hertz, 6348 W. 95th St. Entry was gained through a rear door.

VANDALISM: Tires on two cars in the 9300 block of Cicero Avenue were slashed Jan. 8.

THEFT: An employee’s purse was stolen Jan. 8 from Jedi’s Garden, 9266 Cicero Ave.

WARRANT ARREST: Patrick Black, 52, 10601 Kenneth Ave., Oak Lawn, was arrested Jan. 9 on a DuPage County warrant for a traffic violation after he complained to police about someone egging his house that day, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Michael B. Davies, 34, 8936 Southfield Drive, Bridgeview, was charged with retail theft after he stole nine bottles of laundry detergent and two cases of soda pop, worth a total of $172, on Jan. 9 from Jewel-Osco, 8801 Ridgeland Ave., police said.

POT POSSESSION: Oliver Perez, 18, 7849 W. 82nd Place, Bridgeview, was charged with possession of marijuana after he was stopped Jan. 9 in the 4700 block of 110th Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Erich Little, 46, of Willowbrook, and Barbara Sims, 157 N. Lotus, Chicago, were charged with retail theft Jan. 9 after they stole $193 worth of goods from Kmart, 4101 W. 95th St., police said.

CAR BURGLARIES: Loose change was stolen Jan. 9 or 10 from a car in the 4900 block of Oak Center Drive. About $5 in change was stolen that same overnight from a car in the 4900 block of Lamb Drive, and a radar detector was stolen Jan. 10 from a car in that same block.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Christopher Lottie, 41, 4245 W. Wrightwood Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after a stop Jan. 10 in the 9800 block of Central Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM: Someone tried to pry open the door of an apartment Jan. 10 in the 10400 block of Menard Avenue.

NO LICENSE: Oscar Peinado, 21, 5734 W. 109th St., Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving without a valid license, failure to yield at an intersection and no insurance after a Jan. 10 stop at 95th Street and New England Avenue, police said.

CAR THEFT: A 2004 Toyota Corolla was stolen between Jan. 10 and 14 in the 8700 block of Cicero Avenue.

DUI CHARGE: Daniel Turski, 18, 8037 S. 84th Ave., Justice, was charged with drunken driving, underage drinking, speeding, driving with an obstructed windshield and driving too fast for conditions after a stop Jan. 11 at 111th Street and Central Avenue, police said.

BURGLARY: Tools were stolen Jan. 11 from a garage in the 9600 block of Mason Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Juan Gonzales, 35, 3829 W. 86th St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license after being stopped Jan. 11 at Southwest Highway and 51st Avenue, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A man tried to steal money from a cash register Jan. 11 at Domino’s Pizza, 9022 Cicero Ave. Surveillance video shows him using a rock to break a window and then being unable to open the register.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Samantha Perkins, 44, 11819 S. Justine Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and having expired registration Jan. 11 after a stop at 101st Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ALLEGED: Wilfred Wingield III, 59, 10206 S. Emerald Ave., Chicago, was charged with drunken driving, driving on a revoked license and no insurance after a stop Jan. 11 in the 9100 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

VANDALISM: A window of a car was broken Jan. 12 in the 9500 block of Cicero Avenue.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Dylan Kellogg, 22, 4960 W. Paxton Road, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct Jan. 12 after he hit a passing car with a snowball in the 4800 block of 99th Street, police said.

DRUG CHARGE: Angelica Romero, 21, 7816 Menard Ave., Burbank, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a Jan. 12 stop in the 8900 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Valerie Tuggle, 49, of Lansing, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance, having expired registration and improper lighting after being stopped Jan. 12 at Cicero Avenue and Southwest Highway, police said.
