Park district programs
Registration is underway for the Oak Lawn Park District’s spring programs.
A wide range of programs, special events, trips, camps, leagues and more is offered to all age groups. The spring program guide that contains detailed information on all park district services was to be delivered to residents the last week of January.
Program registration for nonresidents is to begin Feb. 24.
Registrations will be accepted at all facilities except Stony Creek, 5850 W. 103rd St., and the administrative building, 9400 S. Kenton Ave., unless specified. Stony Creek accepts registrations for golf programs only.

While golf stories sometimes result in big laughs at the clubhouse of Stony Creek Golf Course, on Feb. 21 there will be real comedians getting their share of the laughter.
A comedy night will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. featuring four comedians, including a touring headliner to be announced, according to a news release.
The doors open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $20 per person. Reserved seating is required, and a limited menu and cash bar will be available. Attendees must be 21 years old.
