What are your hobbies?

“I have hundreds. Movies are No. 1. I wish I was in a movie. I wish I was every action hero, super hero there was. If I could be Captain America, I would be.”

What do you like about Worth?

“I’ve been here since I was a kid. I’ve lived here, worked here. My grandfather started the place, my kids are fourth-generation. We’re one of the last Mom-and-Pop-style businesses left. We’ve been here in Worth for 52 years.”

What would you do if you were mayor for a day?

“Take out all the red-light cameras. I didn’t have to think about that. I’ve had four or five tickets at this light (at Harlem Avenue and 111th Street) because I’m always afraid of the guy behind me rear-ending me. I’d like to be the Red Light Cam Vigilante if I could be a super hero.”

What’s the last book you read?

“The last book I read was ‘The Art of War.’ How about that? You’ll like it. It’s about strategies.”

Which famous person do you want to meet?

“I’d probably say Ponce de Leon. He discovered the Pacific Ocean, and he was looking for the Fountain of Youth. He seems like a pretty cool dude, but I don’t think he found the fountain.”
