THEFT: A woman’s wedding and engagement rings were stolen between Jan. 22 and 24 from her desk at her workplace in the 10000 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

BATTERY: Terrence O’Brien, 46, 8632 Tuttle Drive, Palos Hills, was charged with battery, resisting arrest and obstructing police after he fought with officers who had stopped him Jan. 23 in the 4800 block of West Columbus Drive for questioning about a suspected drug sale, police said. They said two officers suffered minor injuries during the struggle with O’Brien.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Rasheeda Shannon, 38, 16242 School St., South Holland, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without insurance after a Jan. 25 stop in the 10300 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Jovon D. Johnson, 29, of Milwaukee, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and having expired registration Jan. 25 after a stop in the 9700 block of Central Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Matthew Dearman, 45, 9939 Melvina Ave., Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and leaving an unoccupied vehicle parked illegally after a Jan. 26 stop in the 6400 block of 92nd Street, police said.

VANDALISM: Eggs were thrown Jan. 26 at a house in the 10600 block of Kenneth Avenue. The house has been egged several times over the past two months, the homeowner told police.

VANDALISM: A rock was thrown through a window Jan. 26 or 27 at a building in the 6400 block of 95th Street.

THEFT: A cellphone and $20 were stolen from a book bag that an 18-year-old Hickory Hills teen placed beneath the bleachers while he played basketball Jan. 27 at the Oak Lawn Pavilion, 9401 Oak Park Ave.

THEFT: A dealer registration plate was stolen Jan. 27 from Webb Chevrolet, 9440 Cicero Ave.

HOME BURGLARY: Money, a video game and jewelry were stolen Jan. 28 from a house in the 4200 block of 107th Street. A rear door was pried open to gain entry.

THEFT: A laptop computer was stolen Jan. 28 at Christ Medical Center, 4440 W. 95th St., but the theft was not reported until Feb. 11.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mohammad Joudeh, 21, 5512 W. Oakdale Drive, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving with an obstructed windshield and no rear plate light Jan. 29 after a stop in the 5400 block of West Oakdale Drive, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jesse Hernandez, 46, 6135 W. 103rd St., Unit 2B, Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license after he was stopped Jan. 29 at Southwest Highway and 52nd Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A wallet containing $200 and credit cards was stolen Jan. 29 from the purse of an employee at her office at Christ Medical Center, 4440 W. 95th St. Police said one card was used for making $216 in purchases before the card was canceled.

VAN BURGLARY: Fifty feet of copper tubing was stolen Jan. 29 from a Bunn-O-Matic Corp. van in the 6000 block of 95th Street.

REVOKED LICENSE: John McSwain, 33, 11641 S. Laflin St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a revoked license, speeding and no insurance after being stopped Jan. 29 at Cicero Avenue and 95th Street, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Corey Shannon, 34, of Chicago, was charged with possession of marijuana after he was found with the drug during a stop Jan. 29 in the 4800 block of 111th Street, police said.

EXPIRED LICENSE: Julie Abrahamsen, 34, 9019 Beck Place, Hometown, was charged with driving on an expired license and without insurance or registration after a stop Jan. 30 in the 9600 block of McVicker Avenue, police said.

MARIJUANA CHARGE: Amanda Kalafut, 18, 9337 Trumbull Ave., Evergreen Park, was charged with possession of marijuana after a Jan. 30 stop on 95th Street near Harlem Avenue, police said.

HOME BREAK-IN: A house in the 10300 block of Keeler Avenue was broken into Jan. 30, but the resident said nothing was stolen.

VANDALISM: A vacant house in the 9700 block of Parkside Avenue was broken into between Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, but nothing was stolen.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Andrew Anaya, 24, 4812 W. 91st Place, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and not wearing a seat belt Jan. 31 after a stop at 92nd Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A snow blower and charger cord were stolen Jan. 31 or Feb. 1 from a shed in the 6600 block of 88th Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Leroy Bracey, 28, 5151 S. Paulina Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a he was stopped Feb. 1 at Southwest Highway and 55th Court, police said.

CAR RECOVERED: Police recovered a stolen car that was parked without license plates Feb. 1 in the 4900 block of 87th Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Corey Ricks, 24, 1924 Broadway St., Unit 1A, Blue Island, was charged with driving on a suspended license, having illegally tinted windows, no front license plate and no insurance after a stop Feb. 1 in the 11000 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A laptop computer was stolen Feb. 1 from a Chicago Heights man at the Oak Lawn Public Library, 9427 Raymond Ave. The man told police he stepped outside to eat lunch and when he returned, the laptop was gone.

THEFT: A wallet with $200 was stolen Feb. 1 from a locked locker at LA Fitness, 8812 Cicero Ave.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: A wallet was stolen Feb. 2 from a vehicle in the 10200 block of Cicero Avenue.

THEFT: A wallet, debit and credit cards and $20 were stolen from a man after he may have dropped it Feb. 2 in the parking lot of a bar in the 9900 block of Southwest Highway.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Antoine Moore, 32, 1 Hickory Trace Drive, Unit 312, Justice, was charged with driving on a suspended license, and having expired registration after a Feb. 2 stop at 87th Street and Sayre Avenue, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Luke Kiley, 20, 9656 Maplewood Ave., Evergreen Park, was charged with drunken driving, underage drinking, driving too fast for conditions, no insurance and driving off the roadway Feb. 2 after a stop in the 5100 block of 101st Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Hussein Omer Adwan, 21, 9115 Roberts Road, Unit 3, Hickory Hills, was charged with driving on a suspended license, crossing the median and speeding after being stopped Feb. 2 in the 4600 block of 95th Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Keymon Ammons, 21, 10546 Brooks Lane, Unit A6, Chicago Ridge, was charged with drunken driving, battery to a police officer, speeding, resisting arrest and illegal transportation of alcohol after a stop Feb. 2 in the 6100 block of 97th Street, police said. They said officers had to use a stun gun to subdue Ammons and remove him from his car.
