OAK LAWN

THEFT: A washer and dryer were stolen between Dec. 1 and Feb. 25 from an apartment building in the 5700 block of West Circle Drive.

HOME BURGLARY: A metal box that contained $500 was stolen sometime in January from an apartment in the 9500 block of Kolmar Avenue in January while the tenant was hospitalized.

BURGLARY: Disc jockey equipment worth $5,000 was stolen between Feb. 6 and 24 from a garage in the 10200 block of Major Avenue.

GRAFFITI: Graffiti was spray painted Feb. 11 or 12 on four garages or buildings in the 10000 block of Ridgeland Avenue and on a garage in the 10000 block of Marion Avenue.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: $10 in coins and an electric tire pump were stolen Feb. 12 or 13 from an unlocked vehicle in the 10900 block of Tripp Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Jesse Stockdale, 32, of Calumet City, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding and no insurance after a stop Feb. 13 in the 5200 block of 95th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Earnest Engels, 28, 10412 Mason Ave., Unit 1S, Oak Lawn, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without registration after he was stopped Feb. 18 in the 9500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: $45 was stolen Feb. 18 or 19 from an unlocked car in the 4900 block of West Wick Drive.

NO LICENSE: Jonathan Marron, 20, of Cicero, was charged with driving without a valid license, speeding and driving too fast for conditions after a Feb. 19 stop at 104th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

ASSAULT: Joel Sepulveda, 32, 3220 W. 64th Place, Chicago, was charged with assault and disorderly conduct after he threatened an Oak Lawn man during an argument Feb. 19 outside a gas station, 9138 Cicero Ave., police said.

VANDALISM: A rock was thrown through a window Feb. 19 at a house in the 9300 block of Melvina Avenue.

DUI CASE: Kevin Ford, 29, of Oak Park, was charged with drunken driving, speeding, improper lane use and no insurance after being stopped Feb. 19 in the 4300 block of 111th Street, police said.

VEHICLE BURGLARIES: Sunglasses, a roadside assistance kit, two iPhone chargers and a garage door opener were stolen between Feb. 19 and 21 from two unlocked vehicles in the 9800 block of Menard Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Andrea Hamilton, 32, 2959 W. 73rd St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding after a stop Feb. 20 at Southwest Highway and 50th Avenue, police said.

BATTERY: Four people were arrested Feb. 20 after a fight broke out at Hooters, 9159 Cicero Ave. Tateanna Smith, 20, 10158 S. Green, Chicago, was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property; Betty Smith, 35, of the same address, was charged with battery, assault and disorderly conduct; Marlon Ashby, 42, also of the same address, was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property; and John Ashby, 23, of Carbondale, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Kellin Townsend, 33, 1413 Woodhollow Drive, Flossmoor, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol Feb. 20 after a stop at Cicero Avenue and 98th Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anwar Willis, 29, 11222 S. Vernon Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and no insurance after a Feb. 21 stop in the 9100 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A pickpocket stole a woman’s wallet, which contained about $350, from her purse Feb. 22 at McDonald’s, 10535 Cicero Ave.

THEFT: A wallet that contained $100 was stolen from the purse of a Hickory Hills woman as she dined Feb. 22 at Portillo’s, 4040 W. 95th St.

DUI ARREST: Ricardo Vera, 41, 9721 Keeler Ave., Unit 302, Oak Lawn, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use, driving without a valid license and no insurance after he was stopped Feb. 23 in the 4500 block of 95th Street, police said.

VANDALISM: A rock was thrown through a window of a house Feb. 23 in the 5200 block of Cass Street.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT: Tawanda White, 27, 4000 W. 91st Place, Unit 4W, Oak Lawn, was charged with domestic assault after she broke several items during an altercation Feb. 23 at her home, police said.

DRUG CHARGE: Thomas Bowen, 50, 6131 W. 64th Place, Chicago, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police found heroin and Xanax after a stop Feb. 24 in the 9300 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Robert Dunn, Jr., 30, 6160 S. Ada St., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving with an obstructed windshield, having expired registration and no insurance after a stop Feb. 24 at 103rd Street and Linder Avenue, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Rani Rafati, 21, 10320 Mansfield Ave., Unit 3, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct Feb. 25 after he argued with a neighbor about a parking spot, police said.

THEFT: A wallet was stolen from the purse of a Highland Park woman while she dined Feb. 25 at Portillo’s, 4020 W. 95th St. An iPhone, two credit or debit cards and $200 were stolen.

PILFERED PHONE: A cellphone and $50 were stolen from a locked locker Feb. 25 at LA Fitness, 8812 Cicero Ave.

THEFT: A catalytic convertor was stolen Feb. 25 from a van in the 4100 block of 95th Street.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Truecharles Shuford, Jr., 20, of Bellwood, was charged with driving on a suspended license, illegal use of a driver’s license after being stopped Feb. 25 at 95th Street and Kilbourn Avenue, police said.

THEFT: A wallet containing $40 was stolen from a locked locker Feb. 25 while he worked out at LA Fitness, 8812 Cicero Ave.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Mohammed Almadhi, 38, 9333 Harlem Ave., Unit 2B, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he was seen staring at parents and students and acting strangely Feb. 25 outside Simmons Middle School, 6450 W. 95th St., police said.

WARRANT ARREST: Anamaria Greab, 30, of Willowbrook, was arrested Feb. 26 on a DuPage County warrant for driving on a suspended license after a stop at 95th Street and Cook Avenue, police said. They said Greab also was charged with driving on a suspended license, having expired registration and no rear plate light.

VAN BURGLARY: Tools valued at $700 were stolen Feb. 26 from a van in the 4700 block of 95th Street.

BURGLARY: A snowblower was stolen between Feb. 26 and 28 from a garage in the 4300 block of 109th Street.

NO LICENSE: Adolfo Gallegos, 24, 2134 S. Fairfield Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance, driving with one headlight, having an obstructed windshield and no rear plate light after a Feb. 27 stop at 105th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.
