Oak Lawn police blotter

OAK LAWN

CAR BURGLARY: A $20 bill was stolen May 28 or 29 from an unlocked car in the 9700 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Christopher Boone, 24, 12021 S. Lafayette, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and without headlights after he was stopped May 29 in the 10700 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Romel Caizan-Buscan, 32, 4720 N. Central Park Ave., Unit 2, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance, having expired registration and having a defective windshield after a May 29 stop in the 11000 block of Kilbourn Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Leticia Herrera, 27, 2240 S. Sacramento Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license,speeding and no insurance May 29 after a stop in the 10300 block of Central Avenue, police said.

TRESPASSING: Thomas Collura, 51, 9001 Cicero Ave., Unit 96, Oak Lawn, was charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property May 30 after he kicked in the door of a mobile home that he had been evicted from, police said.

THEFT: An 81-year-old man residing at Manor Care, 6300 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, said $135 that he had left on the nightstand was stolen May 31 when he left the room to use the bathroom.

TOO LOUD: Lawrence Halt, 50, 5803 W. 89th Place, Oak Lawn, was charged with playing music too loudly, keeping a disorderly house, conducting business without a license and swearing at a police officer after police responded June 1 to a complaint about loud music at his garage, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Joel Golomb, 29, 12401 S. 45th Ave., Alsip, was charged with drunken driving and speeding after a stop June 1 at 109th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Keith Williams, 19, 4037 W. 93rd St., Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of marijuana after being stopped June 2 in the 9300 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DUI ARREST: Eddie Diaz, 23, 11905 Lawndale Ave., Unit C3, Alsip, was charged with drunken driving, improper lane use and no insurance after a June 2 stop in the 5900 block of 95th Street, police said.

POT POSSESSION: Fadi Baker, 29, 10122 Buell Court, Oak Lawn, and Aziz Cadus, 32, 11824 Karlov Ave., Alsip, were charged with possession of marijuana when they were found June 2 smoking in a parking lot in the 8700 block of Ridgeland Avenue, police said.

HEROIN CHARGE: Lorrie Monsour, 43, of Kittanning, Pa., was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after another customer saw her snorting heroin June 2 in the bathroom of Hooters, 9159 Cicero Ave., police said.

THEFT: A patient’s notary stamp was stolen June 2 or 3 when the woman was moved to a different room at Christ Medical Center, 4440 W. 95th St.

VAN BURGLARY: A GPS system was stolen June 3 from a van in the 4200 block of 95th Street. A window was broken to gain entry.

RETAIL THEFT: Maurice Johnson, 49, 7923 S. Essex Ave., Chicago, was charged with retail theft after he stole power tools valued at $1,918 on June 3 from Home Depot, 4060 W. 95th St., police said.

NO LICENSE: Fernando Nunez, 39, 16538 S. Emerald, Harvey, was charged with driving without a valid license and with only one headlight after a stop June 3 at 103rd Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

HEROIN ARREST: Timothy Iffland, 55, 9132 S. 53rd Court, Oak Lawn, was charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia after police found heroin in his home when they responded June 4 to a domestic disturbance call, police said.

THEFT: A wallet that had four credit or debit cards and $250 was stolen June 4 from a shopper at the Salvation Army Thrift Store, 8732 Cicero Ave.

NO LICENSE: Ruslan Klivinskyi, 30, 5231 W. Oakdale Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, no insurance and driving off the roadway after he drove into a ditch June 4 near the railroad tracks in the 4900 block of West Columbus Drive, police said.

THEFT: A computer tablet was stolen June 4 from a display table at Kmart, 4101 W. 95th St.
