Updated: August 7, 2014 6:10AM

The Oak Lawn Park District Ice Arena is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a series of events from Aug. 8 to 10, according to a release from the district.

Events will include hockey games featuring the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni vs. active-duty soldiers of Hockey Saves; Oak Lawn Police/Fire vs. Hockey Saves; and Orland Park Police/Fire vs. Hockey Saves. There will also be an open skate with a disc jockey, a Salute to Heroes figure skating exhibition, plus raffles, split-the-pot, chuck-a-puck, auctions and more, the release said.

Tickets include admission to all events (although the open skate is limited to capacity and the number of available skate rentals, and the skate rental fee is not included). Tickets in advance are $10 for adults, and $5 for senior citizens and children age 12 and under. At the door, tickets are $15 for adults.

All events will be at the Ice Arena, 9320 S. Kenton Ave., Oak Lawn. Times of specific events are to be announced at a later date.
